Following the progression of the First Place series, I’ve decided to do a children’s book. The main character is Rabbit, and the story takes place in the First Place.
I decorated a heron for a local charity fundraiser. Click here to see how I cluttered my studio with a giant bird sculpture and got hundreds of seed beads permanently entwined in my carpet.
This is my first go at creating a world from scratch. I limited the size, character number, and complexity on this first project so I could work out the details of the process.
This was a project I created with no specific goal in mind. It ended up being a park-like setting with several different types of Beings enjoying the space.
Movie Mural (AUG 2011)
This mural is located in the alley beside the Blue Mouse Theater in the Proctor District of Tacoma. I painted fake bricks on a concrete block wall, then painted old movie posters and movie tickets as a tribute to the theater.
